It seems that Pete Wentz was not at all prepared to hear that Ashlee Simpson was filing for divorce as he reportedly thought their marriage was just fine.Wentz has reportedly been happy in the marriage while Simpson has allegedly been struggling, states TMZ. So when Wentz was informed, it is reported that he begged her to give it another chance, but she has allegedly been checked out for some time.
And now, even though Wentz is allegedly still asking her to reconsider, Simpson is reportedly standing still on the matter.
It is rumored that she has been upset with his decision to continue touring while she cares for their young son alone at home.
