Ray Winstone and Ben Drew (Plan B) will play Detectives Jack Reagan and George Carter in the upcoming film verison of the classic British cop show, "The Sweeney". Winstone was cast back in 2009, when Love signed on to direct. Finally, two years later, George Carter has finally been cast.
Now I have my concerns on Ben Drews casting as George Carter, because he looks like he's about 15 years old. If he said that he was gonna arrest me, I would laugh at him.
Then the film was put on hold last year. David Tennant, Daniel Craig and Ewan McGregor were all rumored to take on the role of Carter. It's taken officially two years to finally Carters role.
The film will be directed by Nick Love. There is no info on what the film will be about or even when the film comes out in cinemas, but it'll probably sometime next year.
