Shane Black Writing & Directing "IRON MAN III"

New "IRON MAN" director, Shane Black has confirmed that not only will he be directing Robert Downey Jr in "IRON MAN III", but he'll also be writing the script as well. Black will be meeting with Downey Jr later this week to discuss the sequel with him. Downey Jr will also be contributing to the film's storyline.
Black briefly spoke about what he wants in the film. He said, "(Iron Man III) will not be another 'two men in iron suits fighting each other' film. Instead, it will be more like a Tom Clancy-thriller, with Iron Man fighting real world villians."
